What a way to start the summer!

Last week we joined forces with Showcase Interiors and Renovo for our annual Showcase Summer Event — a brilliant opportunity to take a break from the usual and spend time as one team.

The day began at Smithfield HQ, which had been totally transformed with vibrant lanterns and a dry-ice bar display — a clear sign this wasn’t going to be an ordinary day in the office. It was the perfect chance to grab a coffee or mocktail, catch up with the wider teams, and enjoy a bit of pre-adventure buzz.

The big reveal soon arrived: a James Bond-themed mission across London!
Spy-style challenges, pub stops, clues to crack — and plenty of laughter along the way — made for a great day on the streets of the city, with teams working together in ways they normally wouldn’t.

Back at Smithfield later in the afternoon, we wrapped up with drinks and the debut run of the Showcase Wishball — a lucky draw where a few winners went home with cash prizes (one of three draws planned for this year).

A day full of undercover missions, unexpected laughs, and well-earned cheers — and most importantly, a proper way to say thank you to the whole team for their hard work and commitment.
