Showcase were appointed by University College London to provide office furniture across 6 levels as part of a refurbishment project.

Showcase put together an initial design concept, our in-house design team looked at how best to utilise the space and created visual supports for the client in the form of renders allowing the client to visualise what the project could look like.

The areas we furnished included administration, meeting rooms and social spaces. Showcase worked closely with the architects and the client and provided samples of finishes to help with the product selection process as well as designed some bespoke lockers and storage to meet height and fitting restrictions.

Showcase along with the University reviewed the product selection with great consideration, it was important to the client that sustainability and accreditations were factored into the final decision in order to improve the university’s SKA rating, a new way forward for UCL.

The University was located on a red route, directly opposite Euston Station so to overcome we delivered at the rear of the building, however this had issues in itself being a residential area, but the team overcame the challenges and worked to certain timescales. Also, lifts were small so the installation team have had to identify the large products and use the fire exit.
