A sustainable, future ready campus delivered through full FF&E consultancy and multi team collaboration.
London South East Colleges’ new Greenwich campus, known as Future Greenwich, is a landmark five-storey development designed to deliver modern teaching and specialist skills training for the local community. The building brings together contemporary classrooms, hair training spaces, IT suites, a Learning Hub, café, a training kitchen. wellbeing hub and support services – each designed to reflect the college’s colour themed interior identity.
Showcase PSR was appointed through the CCS Framework to deliver the full FF&E package. Working in partnership with Associated Architects, Kier, L&Q and Renovo, the team shaped a furniture scheme that balanced durability, practicality and long term value with the building’s strong visual design intent. The project required a flexible, multi phase approach, with FF&E delivered across evolving timelines while the new building neared completion.
Scope & Services
PSR provided full FF&E consultancy, including product selection, showroom tours, 2D layouts, 3D visuals and room‑by‑room specification packs. The design team worked closely with Associated Architects to align all finishes, materials and colourways with the building’s thematic palette, ensuring visual consistency across all five floors.
The team managed complete procurement and supplier coordination, sequencing manufacturers to suit evolving programme dates and addressing bespoke requirements such as custom-height banquette seating for the atrium. Detailed installation planning ensured seamless delivery despite limited access, shared contractor activity and live testing phases. Nightly photographic updates, on‑site project management and continued liaison with the main contractor supported a clear, efficient and well‑organised fit‑out.
PSR also responded to several time‑critical requests, including replacing inherited desking in the IT suites at short notice and undertaking additional furniture movements to support building testing, demonstrating agility and reliability throughout the project.
Success Points
Showcase PSR delivered a cohesive, durable and design‑aligned furniture scheme that supports a wide range of learning styles and curriculum needs. The project strengthened the college’s commitment to inclusive and future‑ready environments, integrating neurodiversity‑led design within the wellbeing hub and Learning Resource Centre.
Strong collaboration between PSR, the main contractor, architects and the college team ensured that the programme remained coordinated and responsive. Flexible procurement, careful logistics planning and swift handling of unplanned requirements protected both the client’s timeline and the integrity of the interior design vision.
The outcome is a modern, high‑performing campus that enhances local skills provision and provides students with a vibrant, supportive and sustainable place to learn.
