Kings College London is a leading university with several campus locations across London.
We were successfully appointed to provide a large quantity of chairs and tables as part of a major improvement to teaching environments. We were responsible for ensuring that specifications of products were correct, orders were clean and accurate, specified lead times were achieved and all parties were happy with the proposed schedule to deliver the project.
This saw us liaising with the client, our installations team and suppliers including Steelcase, Kusch, Howe and Ocee Design to install over 2000 chairs and 200 tables to 5 different locations within a 2 week period. The project also meant that we had to collect and recycle the existing furniture to make room for the new furniture.
Particular challenges on the project meant that deliveries needed to be arranged & completed outside of normal working hours to fit in with the demands of teaching which often included evenings and weekends.
