Following significant organisational growth, ACRO sought to transform its Hampshire workplace to better support a workforce of more than 300 employees. The ambition was to create a more professional client-facing environment whilst introducing a modern, open-plan workplace designed to encourage collaboration, flexibility and employee wellbeing.

Following a competitive tender process, Showcase PSR was appointed to deliver the furniture solution for the workplace transformation, completed in November 2023.

Showcase PSR delivered the furniture design, specification, procurement, supply and installation across reception, office, meeting and breakout areas throughout the new workplace.

A key part of the project was engaging employees in the furniture selection process. Showroom visits, product evaluations and furniture trials enabled staff to test and provide feedback on potential solutions, helping ensure the finished environment reflected the needs of the people using it every day.

The completed workplace includes a variety of settings for focused work, collaboration, informal meetings and client-facing activities, supporting modern ways of working across the organisation.

Accessibility, employee wellbeing and inclusivity were also central considerations, with furniture and finishes selected to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for all users.

The project was delivered through a carefully managed phased programme, aligned with the wider refurbishment works and completed within the client’s required timescales.

A key success was the collaborative approach taken throughout the project. By involving staff directly in the decision-making process, ACRO was able to make informed choices based on real user feedback, helping drive strong engagement with the new workplace from day one.

The completed environment provides a professional, flexible and future-focused workplace that supports collaboration, wellbeing and day-to-day operational effectiveness.
