On 10 September 2025, our Account Managers, Nigel Nolan and Paul Miller, attended the North Essex Business Expo 2025 to discuss the latest trends in workspace design with North Essex businesses. The event took place at Charter Hall, Colchester Leisure World. It is one of the region’s biggest B2B gatherings. It was a great opportunity to make new connections. Over 100 exhibitors and hundreds of attendees from across North Essex joined the Expo. The event provided a lively platform to network, share ideas, and explore trends affecting local businesses.

During the day, Nigel and Paul met a wide range of attendees. They discussed practical aspects of furniture procurement and workspace planning. For example, they talked about designing functional learning and work environments. They also covered optimising layouts for collaboration and selecting furniture that supports productivity and well-being. These discussions highlighted how thoughtful design choices can make a real difference for the people who use work and learning spaces every day.

The Expo also allowed them to discuss emerging trends in office and educational environments. In particular, flexible layouts, ergonomic solutions, and sustainable furniture options sparked great conversations. Attendees explored a variety of approaches to making work and learning environments more functional, flexible, and engaging.
